Set a hard daily drawdown cap — professionals use 3%. Log each loss as it happens and a live bar tracks your progress toward the limit, warning at 75% and issuing a full halt at 100%. This prevents the most destructive trading behavior: revenge trading after a bad session and turning a manageable loss into an account-ending one.

**Portfolio Heat Monitor**

Track every open position simultaneously. Below 6% exposure is healthy, 6–10% is elevated, above 10% triggers a critical warning.
